Je remets ça

Le mojo bouillonne gentillement donc j'ai décidé d'essayer encore une fois de compléter un concours sur Pattern Review.

Cette fois-ci, je tente le Best of Patterns Contest:


Le but du jeu étant de confectionner des patrons à partir des palmarès 2009, 2010 et 2011 sur PR. Comme j'ai une grosse crise vestimentaire sur les bras (lisez: je n'ai rien à me mettre), j'ai choisi parmi la douzaine de patrons plébiscités que je possède uniquement des patrons en tricot.

En théorie, les réalisations n'auront pas à être repassées et ça se coud tout seul *touche du bois, jette du sel, crache par terre*

Je commence par un patron déjà réalisé, S3503, vue B à réaliser dans un jersey viscose bleu marine à pois blancs:



Ensuite une robe dans un tricot de polyester façon Burberry, M5974, que je soulignerai de fold-over elastic noir à l'encolure cache-coeur et aux poignets:


Et enfin, dans la couleur de la saison, le Corail, S2369, encore dans du jersey de polyester:


J'ai déjà lavé mes tissus, relevé et modifié mes patrons. Je coupe la première robe aujourd'hui même et j'applique les entoilages.

Si jamais ça se passe bien, je pourrais même ajouter un haut ou deux, toujours en tricot pour parachever ma garde-robe.

With my mojo purring along nicely, I decided once again to try and finish a Pattern Review contest.

This time around, I'm going for the Best of Patterns Contest:


The goal is to make up patterns from the Best Of lists from 2009, 2010 and 2011 on PR. Since I'm in the middle of a major garment crisis (read:I have nothing to wear), I picked only knits from the dozen or so winners I currently own.

Hopefully, this will mean garments that do not need to be ironed and will sew up quickly *knocks on wood, throws salt and crosses her fingers*

I'm starting with a repeat, S3503, view B in a navy rayon jersey with white polka dots:



Then another dress in a Burberry print poly jersey, M5974, that I will accent with black fold-over elastic at the surplice neckline and cuffs:


And, last but not least, in the hit color of the season, coral, S2369, again, some poly jersey knit:


I've prewashed my fabrics, traced and altered my patterns. I'm starting the first dress today.

If all goes well, I may even add a top or two to the plans.
